To Everything
You know, some days I feel like I am so grown up. At age 17, I think that I have gone through so much and learned and seen a ton-- that there's nothing new to this life. But I just got to thinking... 'Who am I kidding???' I have so much more to learn, see, hear and experience! I have only scratched the surface!
Girls, those of you who are around my same age, please take life slow! Don't try and speed things up, or grow up too fast. A time and place will come for that; but for now, enjoy being in you Dad's home. Enjoy, the times spent will your little brothers and sisters. When your little sister comes to sleep with you, even if she takes all the covers-- be thankful! There will come a day when it is time to leave the home of your youth and embrace the role of a wife. There will be a day, when you wake up and realize that your little sister no longer needs someone to sleep with at night. [ Yes, a personal story :)!]
As, I type this I am crying, thinking of the years gone by, but then, at the same time I look with eager anticipation to what the future may hold for my family.
:::::::::::::::
“ To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die… A time to kill and a time to heal; a time to break down, a time to build up; A time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to morn and a time to dance… A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep and a time to cast away… A time to love and, a time to hate; a time of war and a time of peace.
He hath made everything beautiful in HIS time.”
Ecclesiastes 3
